The instrument box, past tense. A thought bubble from some time ago, the scene here is that of an instrument station on Brunswick Beach between the south break wall and the Surf Club

The nylon pipes you see used to stretch far out past the surf, they were to measure salinity and other chemical stuff. A technician would attach instrument connections to several plug in points on the rather rusty box on the pole.

The pole in this photo was erected late seventies? Behind the pole you will see the sand dunes. In 2008 the sand actually (nearly) covered this edifice, just some trivia about the pole, it is history leave it.

Incidentally we lost 44 meters of beach in 2009 so have a look at the photos included.
